On ScAuthor you can build an author team by ORCID when posting a project. Lead and co-authors appear on the paper even if they have not joined ScAuthor yet; verified users receive a consent request when they sign in.
Use CRediT-style roles where they clarify contribution: conceptualisation, methodology, formal analysis, writing. You do not need perfect taxonomy on day one, but naming roles beats naming feelings.
